Compare these four US beginner golf club sets by actual clubs, bag type and exact variant before comparing their dated prices. The sample includes three men’s-labelled packages and one smaller women’s-labelled half set; it does not cover every beginner option. They do not establish personal fit or rank performance.

Original three records researched 15 October 2026; TE-200 half-set record added 17 October. TeeClear has not used or measured these sets. We do not rank their distance, accuracy or forgiveness. Manufacturer and retailer agreement supports a listing check; repeated sales copy is not independent testing.

Start with the decision you need to make

  1. Match the actual package. Open the linked profile for named clubs and exact-version limits. A piece count includes more than clubs, and these four samples are not an exhaustive market shortlist.
  2. Check transport and fit. Two records list stand bags and two cart bags. Match that to your plans, then resolve hand, length and shaft identity; no package here has been tested for your swing.
  3. Resolve the blocker before payment. Wilson needs exact specifications for the chosen SKU; COBRA has a flex-table conflict and warranty eligibility question; RBZ has unresolved US access/variant mapping; TE-200 has conflicting stock messages and seller length-table ambiguity.
  4. Request an itemized delivered quote. Keep taxes, shipping and the actual seller’s returns separate from the historical prices below. Use the first-outing budget tool to reserve money for playing and lessons too.

Use this page to compare documented configurations, then verify your selected order. It does not identify a performance winner.

Compare beginner set contents and bags

US package family Clubs, excluding accessories Included bag Full configuration record
Wilson Profile WG1R0361 10: driver, 5W, 5H, 6–9, PW, SW, putter Stand/carry Wilson Profile
COBRA Fly-XL cart, 2024–2025 11: driver, 3W, 4H, 5H, 6–9, PW, SW, blade putter Cart COBRA Fly-XL
TaylorMade RBZ Complete, page SKU N2925007 10: driver, 3W, 4 Rescue, 6–9, PW, SW, Spider Splitback putter Cart TaylorMade RBZ
Tour Edge TE-200 Lady Edge Half Set 7: driver, 3W, 6H, 8-iron, PW, SW, putter Stand TE-200 half-set record

PW means pitching wedge; SW means sand wedge; W means fairway wood; H means hybrid. Rescue is TaylorMade’s name for its hybrid. Inventories follow the official Wilson Profile, COBRA Fly-XL and TaylorMade RBZ Complete pages checked on 15 October 2026. The RBZ row concerns the newer RBZ Complete Set, not the older twelve-club RBZ SpeedLite example in our set-contents guide.

“12-piece” on this COBRA listing means eleven clubs plus a bag. The retailer’s “11-piece” RBZ label is consistent with ten clubs plus a bag. Count named clubs yourself instead of comparing those headline numbers. None of these lists names an approach or lob wedge; that alone does not establish a need to buy one. See whether you need a full set.

Compare dated US package prices and buying questions

The table below retains the original three snapshots. For the newly added TE-200 record, see its separately dated quote and availability limits below.

Manufacturer page Displayed USD price on 15 October 2026 Purchase detail still to resolve
Wilson $549.99 Exact selected variant and delivered total
COBRA $999.00 Variant availability and older-model warranty eligibility
TaylorMade $1,399.99 Selected shaft/iron option and conflicting stock messages

These are page snapshots, not checkout quotes. Tax, delivery, variant pricing and availability require a fresh check. No price here establishes value for your swing. Add accessories, lessons and playing costs using the first-clubs budget worksheet.

What the 16 October field recheck changed

The three manufacturer listings and their seller cross-checks were revisited for selected identity, option and policy fields. Wilson’s recorded SKU table remained present; COBRA’s flex discrepancy and TaylorMade’s conflicting stock messages were unresolved. TaylorMade’s US brand-direct return page was readable in that check and is summarized in the RBZ profile. Prices in the comparison table retain their 15 October snapshot date.

Selected fields checked again on 17 October

Package Identity and options Purchase protection and remaining work
Wilson WG1R0361 Manufacturer still lists RH Standard, RH Tall and LH Standard as three specific SKUs; SCHEELS corroborates RH Standard US warranty table lists a one-year complete-set period, subject to its conditions; direct returns and eligibility after use are separate questions
COBRA 2024–2025 cart Family inventory corroborated; Stiff selector versus R-only iron table still unresolved Warranty release-age cap remains; exact purchase eligibility and per-club Long specifications need confirmation
TaylorMade RBZ Complete Latest manufacturer request redirected to Japan; retain the dated US record, without replacing it with Japanese data US support summary lists two years for clubs and one for bags; complete terms, exact purchase eligibility, selected SKU and US stock remain to be confirmed

This is a limited field update, not a fresh quote or complete verification of every specification. A named left-hand option does not prove every length or shaft combination is available. Open the individual record for its exact evidence and unknowns.

A smaller half-set example added on 17 October

The Tour Edge US half-set listing and Golf Discount inventory corroborate the seven-club entry. Four manufacturer hand/length SKU entries are documented in the profile; they are not stock promises. This adds a smaller inventory to compare with the larger packages, without treating a gender label or lower club count as a fit recommendation.

The manufacturer displayed USD 449.99 on 17 October, while old backorder and availability messages conflicted. The official half-set page provides standard and shorter playing lengths, now recorded in the profile. Per-club shaft assignments, delivered price and stock remain unresolved. The complete TE-200 record separates direct-sale returns, club warranty and retailer terms, including the bag-related limits. Other rows retain their earlier source and price dates.

Resolve the differences that affect an order

  • Walking plans: Wilson and the TE-200 half set list stand bags; the COBRA and TaylorMade profiles concern cart bags. Check how you will carry or transport the bag, rather than assuming all included bags serve the same purpose. Use the first-bag checklist.
  • Variant identity: Wilson publishes three specific hand/length SKU combinations. COBRA lists standard and long options but has a shaft-flex inconsistency. TaylorMade’s displayed SKU does not establish every selectable combination. Each profile identifies what still needs seller confirmation.
  • Fit: a flex label, club count or price does not establish suitability. Bring the exact configuration to a fitter or instructor; start with length, loft and flex.
  • Purchase protection: brand-direct returns and a retailer’s trial offer are separate policies. Confirm the actual seller’s terms before hitting a club. The COBRA profile includes an age-related warranty limitation worth checking for this dated model.

If the unanswered questions make a package hard to assess, compare a package with a checked used selection or rent before buying. Once equipment is arranged, move to your first-round packing list.

Sources and scope

Primary specifications: Wilson US WG1R0361, COBRA US Fly-XL cart 2024–2025, TaylorMade US RBZ Complete.

Listing cross-checks: SCHEELS Wilson exact RH standard SKU, Barnes Brook’s dated COBRA steel package, PGA TOUR Superstore RBZ steel family. The latter two corroborate the family, not every manufacturer’s SKU or numerical specification. Retailer currency rendering varied for RBZ, so its price is excluded. The linked profiles retain the detailed source limitations and unconfirmed fields.
